by on May.28, 2014, under Worship

The Jesus Brings campaign is all about Jesus’ mission to seek and save the lost. An initiative of Sydney Anglicans, dozens of churches across the city are involved, including St Paul’s.Jesus Brings

May Mission finishes this week and a highlight was Daniel Shayesteh, who spoke all weekend at a number of events and services. Daniel’s testimony is miraculous, particularly due to his conversion from Islamic fundamentalist to Christian evangelist!

God is building His Kingdom and there is no heart is too far.

Below is the setlists at St Paul’s for 25 May 2014:

10am:

1. Nothing But The Blood (Traditional)

2. Washed By The Blood (spch)

3. How Deep The Father’s Love (Townend)

4. Cornerstone (Hillsong)

5/7pm:

1.Amazing Grace

2. Desert Song (Hillsong)

3. Be Thou My Vision (Traditional)

4. It Is Well With My Soul (Traditional)

25 May was also an opportunity to commission Tim Scoular as he takes up a staff position at Norwest Anglican Church. It was fitting to pray for him and ‘SEND’ him out as he commences full time ministry at a great church.

Tim has been a faithful member of St Paul’s for over 15 years and will be a blessing to the team there.

JESUS BRINGS – 4 MAY 2014

Church leaders, including Archbishop Glenn Davies, Peter Jensen, Archie Poulos and Dominic Steele share their thoughts on the importance of the ‘mission’ ahead:

St Paul’s commenced May Mission this week. It’s a month where missional and evangelistic activities are given a heightened awareness.

For example, Christianity Explained courses and Equipped for the Harvest conference are being run, as well as weekly small groups and church services.

The highlight will be Daniel Shayesteh, who is joining us from the 10th-12th of May. Daniel’s testimony is miraculous, particularly due to his conversion from Islamic fundamentalist to Christian evangelist!

God is building His Kingdom and there is no heart is too far.

Below is the setlists at St Paul’s for 4 May 2014:

10am:

1. Praise Him (Hillsong)

2. 10,000 Reasons (Redman)

3. There Is Mercy (spch)

4. Amazing Grace (My Chains) (Tomlin)

5/7pm:

1. Home (Running) (spch)

2. Mighty To Save (Hillsong)

3. Once For All (spch)

4. Christ Is Enough (Hillsong)

Finally, it was so refreshing to hear the new sound system in church. The clarity and reach of the EAW line-array speakers is exceptional!

People of all ages were raving about the audio quality. The Word of God MUST be heard clearly and thanks to the vision and support of our Parish Council, it WILL BE every week whether spoken or sung.
