When you complain about church and/or the people at church, you are criticising the bride of Christ. Jesus is described as the bridegroom and we are being prepared for a union that can only be made in heaven. Eg.

The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.

John 3:29

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

Revelation 21:2

So, let’s bring honour to God, by intentionally building UP people and the church instead of tearing them DOWN. Of course, good leaders will welcome feedback, just make sure your comments are constructive and delivered with grace.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Hebrews 10:24-25
